If you wondered how you would react during a slave rebellion or anti-colonial struggle, well, this is how you’d react. It’s happening right now, in front of you in this cursed panopticon. Israel is a literal settler colony and they’re slaughtering the natives that dared rebel against them. And the other colonizers are piling into help. This is why colonial history is important. Because it’s not history at all. It’s happening right now.
Nat Turner’s slave rebellion in 1831 was covered the same as the Palestinian rebellion today, as you can see in the woodcut above.
