You cannot get herd immunity from just getting the disease. This is not a thing. As health policy professor Howard Forman said, “there’s never been a real case of herd immunity through infection.” Never.

Children are not vaccinated. Billions of the worlds poor are not vaccinated. Disabled and sick people are not well protected at all. This is the herd we were supposed to be protecting. Instead they’re being culled.
