Everything Is Breaking

and nothing will be fine

The fridge packs up and can’t be fixed,
cause parts are impossible to find,
The garage-door breaks and nobody comes,
cause workers are busy all the time.

Everything is breaking down
and nothing will be fine.
This is capitalism in decline.

The monsoon’s messed up and the rain won’t stop,
cause they boiled the fucking ocean with their greed.
So the land slides down and the hills give up,
Leaving entire families buried underneath.

Everything is breaking down
and nothing will be fine.
This is our climate in decline.

The dollars disappeared and milk powder can’t be got,
No fertilizer in the fields, no harvest coming up,
Winter is coming and the money flew North,
The South is being left for debt behind.

Everything is breaking down
and nothing will be fine.
This is my island in decline.

The Capitol is defiled and no one pays,
cause the call came from the inside.
A thousand people die every day,
cause America has already died.

Everything is breaking down
and nothing will be fine.
This is Empire in decline.

So goods don’t come and the bads won’t stop,
The poor get poor while the bottles still pop,
The anger builds up and the rage gets hot,
Then all it takes a few violent shocks

Till everything breaks down
and nothing is fine
Till we hit the very bottom of decline.
